The heart of the old city along the banks of the Ljubljanica River. Presernov Trg (Square) is straight ahead. The pink Baroque building is the Franciscan Church, built from 1646 to 1660 and sits at one side of the Trg. Tromostovje (Triple Bridge) is visible in the center.
This is the heart of the old city from atop the grad (castle). You can see the Tromostovje, Presernov Trg and the Franciscan Church.
Yours truly atop the grad's highest tower, looking out to the north-northwest. The Julian Alps are in the background. Beyond them is Austria.
