This page and the other Rome photos page get a lot of hits these days, which is cool (thanks, Alta Vista!). Drop me a line and tell me what you think of the page, the site or the photos. Go here to get back to my Travels page and access my other Italy and Rome photos.
We ate a lot of meals together. I took a few photos of the folks at the tables waiting for whatever mouth-watering delight was on its way to us.
Of the places at which I remember eating, I'd rate them as follows:
Here, Reggie is explaining to his concerned-looking wife Kay, Bill 2 and Clark what to do in case the Astrolink payload processor fails. "Shoot it.", he said quietly, miming a 9 mm for emphasis.
Shiela, Todd, Bill 1 and Reggie reading a menu. Note Todd's "Hey, this menu isn't in English!" expression.
Ron, Todd (no comment) and Paulette deciding if they want a second dish or not.
Dixie and I and Todd and Paulette went out for gelato with our Rome friend Giovanni and his wife Francesca and their two kids, Marta and Davide. We went to Giolitti's, of course, the best place in town for gelato.
Clark contemplating whether he wants another limoncello, or maybe a grappa instead.
