Eating

We ate a lot of meals together. I took a few photos of the folks at the tables waiting for whatever mouth-watering delight was on its way to us.

• 1. Giolitti's Gelateria

• 1. L'Orso 80 dinner
• 1. L'Orso 80 lunch
• 1. La Vecchia Roma because Bill 1, Todd and I ate by ourselves one night and were able to cut loose.
• 2. La Bruschetta because afterwards we went to Dennis' room and drank his champagne and made him pay for it. Heh heh heh.
• 2. La Piccola Arancia
• 2. Le Grotte (except everyone were partypoopers that night Feh!)
• 2. The place on Piazza Navona where we had pizza our first night - we were tired and it was perfect for us.
• 3. The little place where we all got sandwiches after Ostia Antica because we were all really hungry and thirsty.
• 3. All the other places we ate, including that cool place we went to for lunch after the Vatican Museum and the one where we made Shiela deal with the restaurant guy instead of me (for once).

Dixie and I and Todd and Paulette went out for gelato with our Rome friend Giovanni and his wife Francesca and their two kids, Marta and Davide. We went to Giolitti's, of course, the best place in town for gelato.
